  • Must be fluent in English
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must have a high school degree

Housing: provided by host (limited availability, first come first served).

Courtside Apartments:  400/ month
Hostel Bunkhouse:        350/ month

Employment Information

Number of Positions Available: Positions are practically filled.

  • Snow Groomers at U$ 11.50 (We are no longer recruiting for those positions)
  • Lift Operators at U$8.25
  • Ski Instructors at U$ 8.25*
  • Ski Rental Tech at U$8.25 (We are no longer recruiting for those positions)

* must be Level 3, possibly Level 2 PSIA Certified  Ski Instructors.

Length: 6 months.

Number of Hours per Week36. Overtime may be available during busy periods. Overtime pay is for work over 48 hours during a 5-day week. – (California Resort Law)

Schedule: Participants will be having different shifts. Shifts and schedules may change during the course of the program.

Uniforms: Provided by host at minimal cost to the participant. Costs vary by department.

Meals: not provided during shift hours.
The Resort has meal cards that provide a 50% discount in limited restaurant locations only.

Transportation to and from work: Not provided.
Free public bus to and from resort only and only when you are scheduled to work.  Bus is not free for employees living at the resort.

Other Benefits:
Free season ski pass, discounted employee rates for the ice rink, tubing park, pool, and spa (when open), retail discounts, free binding checks, free ski and snowboard lessons, discounted rental equipment and food and beverage discounts. Free internet use.

Job Description

Lift Operator
The primary responsibility of this position is to safely and efficiently run a large network of lifts.

  • Ability to think quickly in an emergency
  • Ability to work outside in extreme weather conditions
  • Must be 18 years old
